We’re located in Hamta, 12 km from Manali Mall Road and it takes about 40 minutes to reach owing to road conditions.
We don’t offer pickup and dropoff services yet. You can contact a local taxi operator to reach us. If you cannot find one, we can also share the contact details of our trusted cab operators. Cars come up to our gate, and no hiking/trekking is required to reach White Musk Resort.
Sethan is 3 km uphill from our location, and is a tourist attraction, especially in the Winter months with activities such as skiing, zipline, and the likes.
Further uphill is Jobri, the beginning of the Hamta pass trek. Cars can go up to the AD Hydro Project, and you can walk for about 20 minutes to witness the picturesque flat valley, burbling of the river, and the surrounding rocky mountains. Soak in the beauty and serenity here during your morning-to-evening expedition.
As a leisure activity, you can also walk about 15 minutes along the road amidst pine trees to a waterfall nearby, and hike as much to your soul’s content from there for a grand view of the valley.
Being the offbeat location that ours is, an ultimate nature lover would enjoy the surrounding forest and views on a leisure vacation.
We have a garden area with a loft net accessible for in-house guests. Mornings and evenings are perfect to lay and be with nature. If you’re in luck, there will be beautiful hues created by the setting sun, the perfect time to capture the dawn while cozying up in the net. You can sit by the bonfire later in the evening.
We also offer Chess, sequence, Jenga, and other board games for your group nights.
We’re open throughout the year, and mountains are a different experience throughout 365 days.
Winters(December to February) are extremely cold(subzero as well), but if you’re keen to witness snow, the landscapes may be all white (depending on the weather on your dates).
Spring may start April onwards, and the landscapes start turning green with the blossoming of flowers. Summers have a comfortably warm temperature and Sunny days, perfect to explore around and just basking in the mornings and evenings.
The onset of Monsoon brings clouds and rains, bringing various hues with sunrises and sunsets.
The cold starts in Autumn and lasts until March with January and February receiving the most snowfall.
Every day in the mountains is different, and you can plan your holiday based on your preferences and weather predictions prior to your plan.
We only allow guests aged between 16 and 50 years at White Musk since this age group would be able to best enjoy White Musk. White Musk is built in a mountainous terrain, keeping in mind the aesthetics while avoiding railings wherever unnecessary for adults. So basically, we’re not kid-friendly, nor is the weather. Moreover, we’re at an offbeat location, away from healthcare facilities in case any emergency arises.
White Musk Administration reserves the right to cancel a stay (without refunds) for guests accompanied by kids or the elderly.
The tariffs provided are for a stay and breakfast for 2 guests. The third adult stays at an extra Rs. 2000 with extra bedding and breakfast. We do not allow four guests per room. You can reserve two rooms for four guests.
We’re located at a remote place where resources like water and electricity are scarce. Hence we allow jacuzzi/hot tub usage once per check-in, preferably on the day of your check-in. On the morning of your check-out, there’s not enough time to fill it up, and enjoy it while keeping in mind the check-out time and breakfast. However, if you need to use it again on the morning before you check out, we charge Rs. 3000 additionally to facilitate Jacuzzi usage with hot water.
The tariffs provided are base tariffs for a stay and complimentary breakfast for 2 guests. We do offer honeymoon and birthday decor as an add-on. If you need extra decor with balloons, flowers, candles, or cake, kindly share reference images with us after reserving your room. We’ll let you know if it is doable, and the charges for the same.
Our check-in time is 2 pm and check-out is at 11 am. We would not be able to offer an early check-in in most cases. However, if your room is vacant the night before your booking, we will be happy to offer you an early check-in. You can check with us after 11 am the day of your booking to find out an approximate time for your check-in. If we aren’t able to get your room vacant and ready early, you can always relax in our outdoor garden areas in the meanwhile.
*Common Amenities*:- Common amenities accessible for all Infinity room occupants include garden areas with seating, dining and bonfire place with a loft net.
Room amenities include whatever is shown in the photographs and electric heating blankets.
Our huge(325+ sqft) INFINITY rooms have unobstructed ceiling to floor glass so you can enjoy the panoramic view of Kullu-Manali valley and Dhauladhar mountain ranges.
What’s more? You can enjoy this view from the comfort of your bed with your partner.
Now you have the option of booking our Infinity room WITH JACUZZI, wherein you’ll have a duplex room with a jacuzzi room right underneath your room. You can click photographs with the same panoramic view, and have the curtains closed for privacy as well!
Our GEODESIC DOME has a private area right outside the dome. It consists of a bonfire area, a jacuzzi wherein you can unwind and an infinity loft net by the valley.
We also have a Tree Deck, which is appropriate for a romantic dinner date, or a proposal.
You can reserve this in addition to reserving a room, or enjoy this space with your loved one even without reserving a room with us.
The private hot tub is an amenity exclusive and private for the dome occupants. If you want to click photographs, you can check with us after you are at the property if the request can be accommodated. We can give you an appropriate time slot of 5 minutes if possible. We may not be able to let you use the jacuzzi if we have a booking for that day. However, if our dome is vacant, you can avail the jacuzzi at an additional convenience charge.
10% of your total tariff amount is non-refundable in all cases.
For cancellation requests 7 to 14 days before your check-in date, we deduct 35% of your tariff for a refund.
For cancellation requests 0-7 days before your check-in date, we deduct 50% of your tariff for a refund.
Our cancellation and refund policy is subject to change. The policy prevailing on the date of your reservation will be applicable to your cancellation requests. We request you send us an email as a reply to a confirmation email sent by us to request a cancellation in addition to communication over a call for a change of plans.
The cancellation policy above will be considered for postponing your reservation, as it will be considered as a cancellation and rebooking.
If you need to prepone your reservation, we’d be happy to accommodate your request based on availability.
We’re sorry but our property is only accessible to in-house guests.
In certain cases where you have limited time, are unsure of your arrival date or if we’re fully booked, we accommodate and encourage photoshoots at a fee. Kindly contact us for the relevant charges.
